Marden Henge Excavations The latest Twitter posts about the excavations at Marden Henge, which started on 28 June. Marden is the third 'mega henge' and is close to Devizes, half way between Avebury and Stonehenge. English Heritage have been researching our collections from Marden to prepare for the excavation, and we are looking forward to hearing how the excavation proceeds!

SUMMER SUNDAY TEAS AT THE MUSEUM
On Sunday afternoons during August afternoon teas will be available at Wiltshire Heritage Museum, Devizes. Visitors will be able to purchase a cream tea or a slice of home-made cake, all made by Museum volunteers, sit down with a cup of tea and chat to other visitors – or just read the Sunday paper.
