Come and explore our Museum with outstanding collections that trace the fascinating history of Wiltshire, its environment and its people over the last 6,000 years. The displays feature collections excavated from the Stonehenge and Avebury World Heritage Site. You can explore the finds from Bush Barrow, described as the Crown Jewels of the "king of Stonehenge", a part of our Stonehenge Virtual Museum.
Lift now available. A lift giving wider access to the museum has now been installed. Due to work on the galleries, we are afraid that the Natural History displays are no longer available.
The Story of Devizes - new exhibition at Wiltshire Heritage Museum
Our new exhibition opened on 28 April and tells the story of the town’s history and development, using objects from the Museum’s collections.
