A special evening opening to welcome local residents to the Museum and Library, together with an opportunity to see English Heritage's 'the future of Stonehenge' consultation exhibition.
Open 5 - 7.30pm
Come and learn more about what we do at the Museum and Library - or just come and look at the galleries and exhibitions.
Special Features for the evening include:
- View English Heritage's proposals for a new visitor centre and changes to the A344 past Stonehenge (display only in Devizes 14 - 17 August).
- Meet the Archaeology Field Group and find out how you can get involved in archaeology.
- Meet the staff and learn about our documentation project, volunteering opportunities and education service.
- Visit the Library and find out how to discover more about the history of your family or where you live.
- View the two current exhibitions - the David Gunning Retrospective and Little Imber on the Downe.
- Refreshments will be available.
