Minature Axe

Pendant in the form of a miniature halberd or axe from the Early Bronze Age woman’s burial Preshute G1a. It is made of copper and set in sheet gold. From Neolithic times axes were sometimes seen as religious objects and were carved on monuments such at Stonehenge.
