POW Postcard home

Postcard from a German prisoner of war at Le Marchant barracks in Devizes to his wife in Germany, 14 July 1946. The postcard is difficult to read in places, but probably reads -
"My sweet little wife, again I’m sending you my fondest wishes. How are you my dear? You are always in my thoughts. Are you well? I am more or less OK, and I don’t think it will get any worse. I haven’t had any post from you for two weeks. I believe you do sometimes write to me. Remain always ... to me."

Postcard home written by a German POW in Devizes Camp.
