Photographs and postcards

The jewel in this collection comprises the original Fox-Talbot prints and negatives. We also hold some of the first photographs of Stonehenge and works by other pioneer Wiltshire photographers. Wiltshire buildings, events and scenes through one and a half centuries are represented in postcard or photographic form and the collection, currently enriched by several albums depicting Wiltshire sites, is constantly growing.
