Opening and Admission
ADMISSION TIMES:
Usual Opening Times: Museum 10am - 5pm, Monday to Saturday and noon - 4pm on Sundays.

Museum admission from 1 April 2010 is: £4.50 Adults, £3.50 concessions (UK taxpayers), £4/£3 non-tax payers and overseas visitors. Children under 16 are admitted FREE - except school groups.
Entry is FREE for members of the WANHS (the Society which owns the Museum and Library), Salisbury & South Wiltshire Museum, Museums Association, National Art Collections Fund and the English Tourist Board.
Museum admission is FREE for all on Sundays.
Please note, the Library is closed on Sundays, Mondays and the first Saturday of the month.
Charges apply for special events, lectures and workshops, including children's activities.
LIBRARY admission is included in the Museum charge, i.e. £4.50 Adults, £3.50 Concessions (£4/£3 non-tax payers). Society members are admitted free. Museum visitors are welcome to come in and look around.
The Library is open 10am - 5pm Tuesday - Friday and 10am - 1pm/2pm - 5pm on Saturdays EXCEPT for the first Saturday of every month, when it is closed.
Booked parties are welcome during normal opening hours. Please contact us to see if a staff member is available at the times you would like.
The Museum is arranged in two Grade II Georgian buildings and has many steps, stairs and changes of level. Unfortunately no lift is available to upper levels, however ramps are available to assist wheelchairs users move easily around the ground floor. See Accessibility for further details.
