Opening and Admission
ADMISSION TIMES:
Usual Opening Times: Museum 10am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday (last admission 4.30pm) and noon to 4pm on Sundays (last admission 3.30pm).

*Includes a voluntary donation of at least 10% which will be put towards the upkeep of the Museum and its collections. If you are a UK taxpayer, please complete a Gift Aid declaration which will allow the Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society (Registered Charity number 1080096) to claim an extra 25% from the Government on your payment.
Entry is FREE for members of the WANHS (the Society which owns the Museum and Library), Salisbury & South Wiltshire Museum, Museums Association, National Art Collections Fund and the English Tourist Board.
Charges apply for special events, lectures and workshops, including children's activities.
ARCHIVE and LIBRARY admission is included in the Museum charge, i.e. £5.50 Adults, £4.50 Concessions (£5/£4 non-tax payers). WANHS members are admitted free, but must show their membership cards on entry. Museum visitors are welcome to come in and look around, but must produce ID if they wish to use the collection.
The Archive and Library is open 10am to 5pm Tuesday to Friday (closed 1pm-2pm). It is also open 10am to 4pm on the first Saturday of the month, by appointment only.
Booked parties are welcome during normal opening hours. Please contact us to see if a staff member is available at the times you would like.
The Museum is arranged in two Grade II Georgian buildings and has many steps, stairs and changes of level. A lift is now available to upper levels, with ramps available to assist wheelchairs users in some areas. See Accessibility for further details.
